aquatican Newbie     After reading The Game I am so fired about becoming a PUA. It would be nicer to have some fellow wannabe PUAs in small town America i.e. Little Rock but damnit I will do it alone . YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY MATTERS? Becoming a PUA means becoming a better person. Becoming Confident and Becoming Charismatic. What else is there to live for? When you're in a group of friends, especially friends who weren't "educated" in the pickup arts like you are, they can totally spoil your game and be cockblocks in a different way. When you do it alone, you're relaxed and don't have anybody else to contend with. I too share your reinvigurated atttitude and im only halfway done with the book.  Hysteria is 100% right, the wrong "boys" can spoil everything.  Your only real option is to educate them.  However, i have 2 buddies who are natturlaly quite addept Scores in the high 40's at 25 years old, who are a real point of strenght for me when I go out. A good team/partner can be great. But your right, learning solo is tremendouly important. I tried this, last night, with old friends to educate them on PUA techniques, basics, and the strangest thing happend. Rather than them graciously accepting my advice or a different way of thinking, they responded in a way that buffered them; they allready had all the game in the world, and/or were to lazy to do any real "work" to get laid. I was stunned. This will happen to you i believe.  I would consider myslef pretty pursuasive, but some people won't want to learn.  In sum, go out, learn on your own, share your experiences with your boys that may have potential and allow them to come to you for enlightenment.   Best of luck. But I am not worrying just yet about this. However this lack of PUA's will turn turn into a massive advantage to me as I will be probability the only one doing it! I too after reading "The Game" was (and still am) ready to rock n roll, there is SO MUCH to gain from this change in lifestyle both personally and professionally. I have purchased nearly every book that was mentioned in "The Game" and then some more, and over the last 2 weeks I have been gradually getting my image down to the way I have always wanted it to be. And last weekend, I had my first proper go at the game. One number close and two kiss closes, not bad for the first go I think! ----- Skill is Nothing! The WILL IS EVERYTHING! The will to fight! Keep doing what works and modifying your technique to change things that don't work! It's true that what you learn about being successful with women transcends into other aspects of your life. It's funny I used to lurk on these forums at the same time the events in the book happend. I feel like an idiot not following through with anything, but after reading it I have such a huge boost in confidence that this stuff works. In the past I thought I wouldn't want to seduce someone with techniques because that wasn't being "me".  When you think of it, it's as if I approached a math question with out using the proper formulas because it's not "me" Well now that I've been doing approaches, I've been telling my AFC friends, its because i'm "going to charm school" I wonder if I could turn that into a routine down the line. I just lent the game to a close friend of mine, now I got someone to work as a pair! Total Posts: 17 | Joined Nov. 2005 | Posted on: 5:12 pm on Nov. 9, 2005 | IP timeforacatnap Junior Member     i'm in the same boat as all of you, i've jsut finished the game, and quite a few others, right now i'm reading on called 'how to suceed with women, ron louise' i also read the layguide (that is a must read)   out where i live there arnt many pua's but there are alot of naturals, this being a student town and all, personally i've been going at it on my own or with a mate whos become my wingman, whats good is that we're both at about the same level in terms of pua, so it makes getting knocked back almost an inside joke. ----- signing on with mystery method» in UK in august Total Posts: 75 | Joined Nov. 2005 | Posted on: 2:36 pm on Nov. 11, 2005 | IP gridlock Newbie     i just had my first night of "sarging" last night.  i've always been uncomfortable in bars and clubs for some reason; however, i figured out the two most important aspects of following the 3s rule.  if you don't two things happen: 1-chicks see you as gathering up courage to say something. 2-chicks see you as thinking of something to say. 1+2=instant afc loser.
