ChillyT Newbie     Whenever I walk up to a girl in the gym to ask something about a machine  or something they just give me a cold hard answer and but their headphone back up. They just don't want to be disturbed while working out, they just wanna do their exercices and go home as fast as possible. Does anyone know something really original to say or to do to get her attention and actually talk to me? ----- It's Not How Many Times You Score ... It's How You Score Total Posts: 2 | Joined Mar. 2006 | Posted on: 10:36 am on Mar. 25, 2006 | IP aesop Member     Most girls I talk to tell me that they HATE when guys hit on them at the gym.  I think a lot of you have the right idea with the concept of innocent conversation or even askin for help w/ a machine.  I dont think sarging at a gym is a good idea b/c its such a close knit group, especially if you go at the same time every night,  that you'll get a reputation very quick and none of the girls will want be approached by you. Joining a class is a good call, but I would definitely join and not approach anyone for several classes, let the girl see that you are really there to improve yourself, not just to hit on girls.  Guys tend to join a class and go right into attack mode the first night, but you need to make your presence known as non-threatening to the girls who arent lookin for love at the gym.  Once youre viewed as not a threat then you can make approaches about the class, gym, etc. ----- Pray for a good harvest, but continue to hoe!! All of you douches who think otherwise are dead wrong. Why do you think there has been a recent explosion of all-women gyms? True, women have self-image issues and don't want to have to dress up to go to the gym, but the main reason is because they want to get away from the probing eyes of douchebags such as yourselves. You go there, get your testosterone up throwing weights around (with probably horrible form, which only furthers your douchbaggery and complete uselessness), and then try to pick up girls. Horrible.
