doctortroy Newbie     I just go sarging and use myspace as a tool for my sarging.  For example, I meet a girl and then tell HER to look up my profile.  That way if you haven't f-closed her already you can flirt with her in an impersonal way.  It is often better than calling because calling and getting to know a girl can be a bit AFC.  This way you display interest more subtely and keep her guessing a bit more. ----- Doctortroy Total Posts: 4 | Joined Sep. 2006 | Posted on: 9:34 pm on Sep. 3, 2006 | IP Par24 Newbie     I want to hear all of your opinion on something that has been bugging me for a very long time. I started my myspace profile a while back and I thought that I would get some kind of a response. I don't have any skills when it comes to girls in real life and never ending diappointments have take all my motivation. I head a lot about myspace and I have heard many people say how it worked for them. I thought I would put it to the test and made up a profile. Unfortunately, I have had no response at all. I don't add people just for the sake of having "friends". The people that I do have added are my real friends with the exception of 4 girls. I have no clue who they are or what they do but they are "friends" simply because they requested an add and they are attractive, so I added them. I keep beating myself up over why I get no response from girls. It just reinforces my beliefs about myself. The only thing I see on random profiles is everything that i'm not. Should I lie about certain things...such as ethnicity? Should  I remove certain types of pictures? I'm really confused about the proper way of handling this. I do however think it can be a decent place to practice talking to women, but dont expect everything you try on the computer to work in person. People accept sexual remarks and such on the computer more readily as it's harmless. With that said, a couple years back is when myspace was prime. There was alot of people on it, but not so much that girls ignored most every guy that sent them a message. I go in volume i sent alot of girls messages. I used to try and pick out something  on her profile that showed i read it, but found that to be a waste of time. I've tryed every approach i can think of, ranging from "hi" to "so you like big dicks?" to "hey whats up" i found that putting a subject heading has slightly better results. I found that none of those lines work all that well, but are "ok". Lately i tryed somthing new which works really well. Better then i expected actually. Hopefully everyone that reads this doesnt copy it directly, but instead uses it as an idea as to how to make an approach on the computer. If everyone uses the same line, pretty soon it wont be effective for anyone, so players please be original. Anyways, under subject heading i put "Ugh" and under message i say. "it took like 5 trys for the message me thing on your page to work. i sure hope you're worth the trouble" Every single girl that responded had a positive response. ALWAYS laughing, and either assuring me they are worth the trouble, or laughing and saying sorry while they ask more about me. Usually i say somthing back like "its ok i wont hold it against you this time." I try to maintain a cocky funny additude and make it seem like they are chacing me. I never make sappy compliments and i make sure in their mind im the one that they should work towards, not the other way around. If you start sucking up to them u will lose them, i cant even count how many times i talked to a girl back and forth a dozen times only to have her finally forget to respond back. Live and learn.
