I've been reading a couple of books on Mentalism (a branch of magic), and this stuff can be really useful for demonstrating higher value.
Depending on how GM you are, taking 5 girls and guessing the colours of their underwear (or favourite perfume if not so GM) can be quite impressive and great fun. However, it's very important to make sure the delivery is just as good. For this reason, I am recommending 2 books, the first is called Messing With Minds (Extremely mental edition) by James Biss which is a book on some fantastic mentalism tricks. The other is a book by Derren Brown titled Absolute Magic (A model for close up performance) which is more about the delivery of magic than the tricks.
The first book is quite tough to get hold of (maybe 300 in existence) if you can't get it check out Prism by Max Maven, the 2nd should be available in a few magic shops.
There is a piece in the Derren Brown book which takes demonstrating higher value to the extreme, and I have had girls crying and thanking me all night once the trick has been completed. It's a levitation trick, but performed so much more intelligently than when I had previously seen it done.
