girlspontofview is trying to speak for all (or the majority of) women out there. Well, I'm pretty sure she doesnt. For me, the simple fact that I have been with both more women and better looking women when I have had long hair tells me that she is wrong. I will admit that most of them tell me they have never been with a guy with long hair before, but doesnt seem to be a problem. Most of them are not stuck in the 80's. In fact, most of them cant stand the 80's. Damn shame, really. I quite enjoyed the 80's and cant wait for the return of that "glam" style. I really want to see green spiked mohawk's again, lol. Helluva lot better than bell bottoms or the butt of you pants down to the back of your knees while "gettin your freak on" to some hip-hop or emo garbage. Nothing quite like being in a room with a few thosand going to town with Stratovarius or Man O War. That's what I mean about the woulrd you live in. If your not into a scene or style, then why would you want to try to hit on women in that scene? Most women in the world of metal tend to like their men with long hair. Most guy's in that world like those women. I can only assume that girlspointofview is not into that scene and goes only my pop culture. In other words, if she cant dance to it, she doesnt like it. So back to the orginal post. I really dont think that you should ask if long hair will hurt in getting women. You need to ask yourself about what kind of women to you want to attract. Then look at how you present yourself and see if you're comfortable with your image. At that point, ask us for general help in regards to getting the look you want. Your orgianl question just cant be answered. Eveybody has their own view and you'll never get a straight answer because of that.
