This is how my wing and I have been starting off sets. He opens and gets past
the social hook point. Next, I merge in with something like "are you hitting
on my BF?" or some kind of C&F accomplishment intro. I obviously keep my BL
turned towards my wing and never turn my body towards the girls.
After my accomplishment, I either turn and face my wing or show my back to the
set (but not my wing.) From there, my wing starts running a rapport type game
with a minimal amount of C&F. It's like UG Theory game. BUT what I do is
snipe at the set by hitting them with teases and cold reads, no rapport at all.
My material falls on the harsher side, though I'm never rude.
As you can see, we're running a good cop bad cop game.
Eventually, the set "wins me over" and I start transitioning to rapport. Since
I have some kind of rapport with the set at this point, my wing and I can break
up the set. Even though my wing's been running rapport, it doesn't seem to
matter because their BT has been pumped with my bad cop game and they forget
that he prematurely conveyed heavy interest.
