Well Im going to start off by telling you about the boxset it self. It has the 6 seasons dvd, the first ost, and well the box. This is the coolest box ever. It's like a case, you can open it and close it. Very tough quality, not just boxset where you slide the dvds in like robotech, or die hard. The ost is pretty good, but im not much of a jazz fan so i can't give a review on that. Cowboy Bebop is probably one of the coolest series to hit the states. It's a lot better then Outlaw Star or Trigun, some may disagree. It's not a series that continues on and on. Each ep has it's own plot. The overall layout is that it reveals each charater's past bit by bit. At first I found the music to be boring, but as it went along, I got with the beat. There isn't much thinking to do, it's pretty much flat out action most of the time. If you havent watch a lot of anime, or you only watch stuff on Cartoon Network, pick this up. It's probably going to be the first serious anime you will see.
Rating: - Bebop is Back
Cowboy Bebop is probably the best anime series of this decade (and the last one), and one of the best series that Americans will ever be able to watch. (dont you dare forget old school Robotech...) Bebop is a wonderful series with an incredible plot (every episode is a different "session"), intriguing characters, and the music....'bebop' is an understatement. more like sheer genius. So amazing, that you should also purchase the soundtracks--that's how good the episodes are. Set in a lawless free-for-all future, Bebop lets us in on the 'sessions' of 5 main characters: an ex-cop and his welsh corgi dog, a mysterious young man who claims to have already died, a young woman with luck on her side, and a young, computer-hacking genius. You'll laugh and cry with these endearing, frighteningly real characters exploring real relationships in real situations...and you'll understand that this is more than a cartoon. It's an experience. Exploring different themes and styles, the musicians, artists, and writers on this show create an entertaining, aesthetically-pleasing, mind-blowing series of action-packed jam 'sessions' that everyone should own 2 copies of.
Rating: - My "Real" Cowboy Bebop Review
My other Cowboy Bebop Review's were kind of stupid, so I decided to make another one, so listen up to what I have to say about it. Cowboy Bebop is an Anime Series that is beyond comparison of any other Anime Series, or any Type of Shows period! This whole Anime Series is just so Dramatic, which is what makes it so damn good, and the Music is some of the Best Music I've ever heard. Now if you're thinking that this Anime Series is just all Action, you're totally and completely wrong. This Anime Series is about 5 Bounty Hunters searching for the people or the thing that they lost in the Past, and now they're all trying to find that. Spike Spiegel is a man with a VERY dark Past, and the person that he lost (Not lost, but couldn't be with at that time) Is a woman named, Julia... she meant everything to Spike, and still does, so, through out this 26 Episoded Anime Series he searches for her (I won't tell you anymore about that, because if you haven't seen BeBop yet, that'll really ruin it for you). Jet Black, another man with a fairly bad past, he also lost someone that really meant something to him, her name is Alisa, a woman that left him back in his days when he was with the Police Department, I won't tell you why, you'll find out in Episode 10, and be sure to pay close attention to that Episode. Faye Valentine, a woman that doesn't know anything about her past, until Episode 15... sorry I can't say anymore about that, or it will surely ruin it for you. Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivursy the 4th, a super-Hacker, but she's a little Girl at the Age of 13, and she tries to find out about herself in 24, nothing more I can say about her, unless you don't wanna be surprised when you see it. Last but not least, Ein, a little Welsh Corgi that they pick up in Episode 2, Ein is short for Einstein, 'cause Ein is most likely the smartest Dog in the World, and Ein is like Ed's Best Pal in BeBop. So, there you go, the Crew of the BeBop has been assembled, now go and buy each and every Episode. This Anime Series is also my Favorite, if you love as much as me you'll cry through out a few Episodes.
