The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued new rules that go into effect on December 1, 2009. These rules state that product reviewers on web sites must disclose whether they received products for free or received monetary payment for such reviews. Even before such guidelines were passed, we have operated FastSeduction.com in such a way as to already fully comply with similar ethical guidelines.
Periodically, we (the operators of FastSeduction.com) receive review copies of products from vendors or access to observe events for the purpose of reviewing those products or services. It is typical that those review copies are retained and kept in storage for possible future reference or for follow-up reviews. We have never, and will never, charge any fee of any kind, whether monetary or in exchange for other benefits, for a review or accept money from any individual or company in order to get a favorable review.
We believe in only promoting products and services which will be of help to our site visitors and, at our own discretion, may only display reviews of products on our site which we’ve found or observed to be beneficial to those visitors.
We do not endorse any paid advertisements on FastSeduction.com. All paid placements are clearly not endorsed and our advertising guidelines stipulate that no advertising will be accepted which implies endorsement from us.
This site is able to operate from revenue which comes from product sales and affiliate referral commissions. Outside of reviews, as stated above, no affiliated or advertised products are sold or endorsed directly on this site, and any claims made by such affiliates or advertisers are contained on those outside sites. We are not responsible for any claims made directly by advertisers or affiliates. In the cases where advertisers or affiliates are allowed to publish content on FastSeduction.com (such as on our forum or in contributed articles), it is clearly stated and clear for any visitor to see that the content has no relation with any endorsements which the operators of FastSeduction.com may or may not make.
In other cases, we may publish or re-publish reviews made by site visitors or contributors to this site, and in those cases we do not claim endorsement, nor are we obligated to monitor or censure such reviews whether they are positive or negative.
Due to the nature of possibly needing to quantify testimonials as a form of marketing or endorsement, we limit such testimonials to only our own free services or simply avoid the use of them entirely. On the rare occasions testimonials have been shared, they would have been published prior to December 1, 2009. All other testimonials are shared to the best of our ability only when their validity can be quantified. We only share testimonials which we know to correlate with the typical or average result of customers who actually utilize the products or services.
We always strive to maintain objectivity – we believe that our direct experience with products or services that we review is the very best way to share information about those products with our visitors and members. We also strive to ensure the wording and claims of our own marketing is honest and represents the typical results of customers who actually utilize the products or services. The mere purchasing of our products or services without an active use of those products or services does not imply any guarantee or warrant on the results that customer will see any more than selling water will guarantee someone will diminish their thirst if they don’t drink it.
