Hi, I'm a long time listener, first time caller...

I'm still on the journey of going from an AFC to a PUA, but I think this might
help those others that are still in recovery.
The attitude we're supposed to adopt is, roughly speaking "chicks want us".
But, the AFC just won't believe this (mostly because it's true that chicks
don't want the AFC). Trying to lie to yourself about how attractive you are
just isn't going to work. (I'm a logic instructor, so I have even a stronger
self bullshitting sieve)
But, I've found adopting this attitude very helpful: "I might be a average
frustrated chump, but I'm recovering, and all that's between me and becoming a
pick up artist is practice." Seriously, we can accomplish damned near anything
with enough practice.
I've found that adopting this kind of attitude really boosts my confidence and
improves the reactions I get from girls. Have I gotten laid by gorgeous girls
yet? No. Do I feel more confident about my chances? Hell yes. Is that the
step in the right direction? Of course.
I hope this is able to help those still stuck in "I'm never gonna get laid"
stage. And, I'd like some advice on what should be the next stage after this.
