your post identifies a big mistake i used to make, and i believe that many new
guys here don't realise they're doing it either. this is probably because new
guys see these TOOLS, but don't understand how they FIT into the big picture
yet. this post should help explaining the LINKS to the big picture a bit more.
if somebody has similar or related 'big picture' posts, please recommend them.

KEY POINT:
cocky & funny is for building ATTRACTION.

SO, once you HAVE attraction from her, STOP (or at least slow down) the C&F
stuff because you don't need to build any more attraction.

if you DON'T stop, you will actually just end up pissing her off or confusing
her (when you see her really pissed off or confused (not just joking) after you
do some C&F, take that as a hint to stop :).

if you find yourself LOSING attraction later, C&F *MIGHT* be a solution to
REBUILD that attraction: but it really depends on WHY you lost attraction in
the first place.

OKAY? how do you know that you are succeeding in building attraction? answer:
indicators of interest (IOIs) -- do a search if you don't know what these are.

what's ENOUGH attraction? different opinions here, i think most would say 3
IOIs means you have enough attraction to move out of the attraction building
phase.

EVEN if you missed ALL the IOIs she gave you, realise that SHE wanted to meet
with you ALONE! do you think she wanted to come over to do crosswords &
knitting?!

SHE wanted to meet ALONE even after YOU suggested she bring a friend along!

NOW look at how you RESPONDED to her request - by playing games with her,
trying to joke about, etc. she gave you a HUGE sign that she wanted your meat
surprise and you REJECTED her. i bet you will never screw this one up again!

this goes back to what many of the top guys around here write about: keeping
focused. if you're going to deliver a C&F line, then you need to have an idea
about WHY you want to deliver that line. is it going get you closer to your
goal of fucking her?

a suggestion: read your report and decide at each point if what you were doing
was moving closer to or further away from your goal. you could do this at the
end of every night, regardless of whether you actually write a report (just do
it in your head). you'll gain much insight.

overall, given how much you screwed up :), and the fact that she gave you three
chances to make up for it, you must be doing SOMETHING right dude, so if you
get this SP fixed you're definitely going somewhere man!
