posted on: mASF forum: Advanced Discussion, August 8, 2005Alright everyone, something incredible happened to me tonight and I wanted to
share it with you all.
I've been practicing PU for over 18 months now, and the results have been slow
to come. But tonight, I pulled 3 firsts:
- First PU entirely in a foreign language. (My first set of the night was in
French. It lasted 45 minutes, but went nowhere.)
- First cold-approach makeout session. (My last set of the night. "What do you
like better, passion or romance?")
- First solid #close from a cold approach. (Last set again. She asked me to
call her phone to make sure it was real.)
This was not easy. In my 18 months of sarging, I've had to:
- Open 1300 sets
- Take 2 expensive seminars
- Maintain a hidden double-life from my friends and family
- See a therapist
- Go to a disgusting number of lair meetings
- Get into 3 fistfights
It's been incredibly stressful, but I feel like a different person today. I
feel like an enormous weight has been lifted from my chest.
It'll probably be a few more months till I get my first cold-approach lay. So
don't give up. It takes time.
