You're applying logical analysis to a statement, which isn't something girls
do at the best of times and even less during a conversation. The number of
girls who'll say; "How can you like me? You don't even know me" is in the
ballpark of the number who'll say "Why are you asking for my opinion? You
don't even know me". Logically, most indirect openers make no sense in a
club because it's a high energy environment and people are there to have fun
so personally I feel weird wandering around asking "who lies more.." like
I'm doing some survey.

I feel when talking about a direct approach, the term "opener" can be
misleading to some people. With indirect, an opener is a way to open an
interaction with a girl so you can begin your 9 steps or whatever to move
from a neutral zone to showing that you like her for some reason,
demonstrating rapport, connection etc etc. Advocates of indirect have
referred to direct as "just another opener" which is completely wrong. With
direct game the only purpose of an opener such as "I like you, I want to get
to know you" is to grab a girls attention in a way that's congruent with
your attitude and frame.

You can't just change the words and switch from indirect to direct, you must
have the correct mindset. As an example;
Indirect people claim that a good way to approach is by being neutral and
having your body turned *away* from the girl and instead turning your head
to look at her. If you try this and replace "who lies more.." with "I like
you.." then you're not being direct, you're being an AFC because she now
knows you like her but you show no confidence.
