me: but if you want to help your friend out, you have to make it pretty clear
to the guy that you are not interested, so he can look elsewhere

me: honestly, the best way to get you off the radar, is for him to see you with
someone else
me: then your friend can try to see what happens with the guy, once he isn't
looking at anyone in particular(which would have been you)
