She is "programming" you to feel like
you have to be a "nice guy" with
respect to your relationship to her.

She states you are "nice."
You choose to accept this or not.

I am dealing with this in my LTR,
where I didn't recognize the trap,
and walked right into it. And it is
a trap because chicks reserve the
right to define what "nice" means.

IIRC from field reports, you aren't
all that nice.

I would be really interested in how
you handle this because I had a
similar situation last winter. I was
sympathetic with the chick, and
never heard from her again. If it
happens in the future, I will probably
say something like "you got played, get
over it."
