FOREWORD: This is strictly a review of the Pick-Up Artist(PUA) Summit held in
Los Angeles, California. This contains just the overall impressions of how I
perceived the people, the event itself, and the atmosphere of the convention.
I'm in no way on anybody's one side and I'm not nuthugging nor flaming anyone.
The report is just of what I experienced at the event, period. Now, to the
actual event....

Los Angeles PUA Summit 2004

sponsored by FastSeduction.com

WHEN: April 1- April 5
WHERE: Los Angeles, Cali
COST: Admission was free for all ASF'ers

MY EXPECTATIONS: I knew that the event was basically going to be meeting a lot
of people and PUA's and just shooting the shit. This was just something that I
would have a lot of fun with.

WHAT WAS OFFERED: Free Seminars & Lectures by a whole galore and slew of the
most respected PUA's in the community. Some "legends" and some "advanced", but
all in all, this was a great opportunity to see what method the instructors
advocated and to view the world as they see it.

March 31, 2004:

I arrive in LAX and meet up with Matrixsex. Air picks us up and we talk alot
about the game and we were all pumped up about the event. L.A. is really a
crowded place with traffic, streets, and buildings. Air showed us around the
scene as it was our first time in L.A. in our lives. We did some nightime
sarging in Huntington Beach and I bought this overly peacocked jacket that was
off the hizay. It was mad crazy shit with PVC shiny latex material and red
devil pockets. Sadly, I had to give it up to my good friend(more on that
later).

April 1, 2004:

We go to our hotel and wait for pimpstylez. I've emailed him before and talked
to him on the phone and he sounds like Arnold Shcwarzenneger(his accent
actually). Pimpstylez arrived and he seemed like a cool guy, and he turned out
to be one the fuckn funniest guys that I've ever met. He runs the Germany Lair,
but he's my official AMOG buddy :). I also met Halb that day and he was telling
us about the Mystery Workshop he took in Amsterdam. Apparently, pimpstylez and
Halb are "approach machines" and they provided the proof with pics with hot
chicks on their digital camera after they went nightclubbing.

Me and the crew went to Mel's Diner and we find out that there is actually TWO
Mel Diners. That was fukn crazy as we would have been lost if we didn't find
the other one. We call up Herbal T and we meet up with him. I see TD, Gametrain
& Pyro(Austin Lair), Crepatas, and Formhandle there. Eventually, we go to the
Project Hollywood Mansion and we meet Papa, Protocol, Andrew and everyone else.
I was wondering where Mystery was as I wanted to meet up with him. As I'm
pondering, we see the bedroom door open and see fingers with black nails push
it ever so slightly. Voila, a grand appearance none other than by the elusive
Mystery. What a presence. He was all decked out with his black peacocked hat, a
certain type of trench overcoat, black long sleeve shirt with hook ons, and
brownish snake boots. We converse and just shoot the shit.

Later on, the whole crew go out to Melrose and sarge while shop. It was mostly
shopping but I got a lot of new gear that I've added to my wardrobe. Mystery
cleared up a lot of questions that I had and I thank him for that.

Rocckstar arrives and Tommy W as well to our hotel, where they eventually crash
for the whole summit, and rocckstar is wearing this crazy fur jacket with his
shades. He actually looks like a rockstar.

April 2, 2004:

The infamous Jlaix "get punched in the back of the head" workshop took place. I
guess Matrix was his first student as he got fukn wacked by this coward. We
went to the hospital and I get to learn a lot about Rocckstar and Tommy W's
games. Tommy cleared up a lot of questions that I've had and he gave me a few
tips and pointers to up my game. We go over to the Project Hollywood Mansion
again and I meet up with Mystery & Style. Formhandle taught me a lot of stuff
about AI's and such that night, and he's a really cool & funny ass guy. I think
this was the day that Herbal T, Wilder, TheOne, and Cristophe(San Francisco
Crew) pulled like 7 girls to the Mansion and were gonna fuck but I guess they
didn't. I crashed at the house with Mystery and I passed out only to wake up
with jlaix towering over me. I fell asleep again and waked up the next morning
for the seminars. I ate with Thundercat that night at the Rainbow Bar & Grill
and he seemed money.

April 3, 2004:

Me, Mystery, Gametrain, & Pyro catch up on a little breakfast and we just talk
about some stuff. Then we head back to the mansion, and that's where the real
fun began. The seminars actually started at 1:00 P.M. The people who talked on
that day were of the following from my recollection:

Seminar One: Formhandle on Approaches & AI's(approach invitaitons)

Seminar Two: Tyler Durden & Playboy LA from the RSD Crew on Social Calibration
and Peacocking.

Seminar Three: TheOne on wing tactics and impressions of TylerD, Mystery, Papa,
Swingcat, etc.

Seminar Four: Jlaix on his game.

Seminar Five: Ross Jeffries on Beliefs, Breathing Exercises, and Rewiring the
mind.

This was all on day one. I'll give a cliff notes on each one.

Formhandle:

Form was funny as fuk with his facial expressions and how he moves. That's what
I thought as I busted up cracking up the night before where he teached me with
AI's and then the actual day of the seminar where he taught the same thing.
This guy is stunningly different from online compared to IRL as I thought at
first he would tell me to "read the posting guidelines" but nah, he was one of
the coolest guys there.

TylerD & Playboy LA:

Tyler stressed so much on the fact with clothes. Actually, he & Mystery split
up the room into three groups: 1) Geeks & Dorks, 2) the Mid-Guys who get laid,
3) guys who get laid. The thing is, this was purely off the style of dresses we
were wearing. He talked some stuff about bodylanguage, vocal fixes, etc.

TheOne:

TheOne brought Wilder to demonstrate various wing techniques and tactics. I
found it valuable and thought it was cool. The impressions of Swingcat &
Mystery were priceles.

Jlaix:

Jlaix talked about his infamous reputation of fucking fat chicks & UG's. He's a
really funny guy although he was more laid back as I expected. He demonstrated
the cat got laid story and evo phase shift.

Ross Jeffries:

I think this was one of the most money portions of the whole day. It was so
invaluable. I learned a lot with the breathing exercises and his philosophies.
But the most impressive part of this particular seminar was meeting the "Tyler
Durden" of Speed Seduction- Vince. This guy, I could tell, was getting laid
like a rockstar. Seriously guys, if you want to learn from the best, go meet
Vince.

April 4, 2004:

This was day two of the free seminars. It again started at 1:00 P.M. I missed
some of the beginning but I was there for the whole day. The day was breaked up
into this:

Seminar One: Thundercat's background, the art of approaching», and his
experience with his Mystery Method workshop.

Seminar Two: Swingcat on storytelling, various versions of his patented
push-pull techniques, and attraction mechanisms of HB's.

Seminar Three: Style on phone closing tactics, DHV magic tricks, and his "The
View" Critique session with his five girlfriends.

Seminar Four: Mystery on the "code to the matrix" of his whole method.

Thundercat:

This guy talked a lot about his background and how he got to where he was now.
He shared his method of developing intrigue based routines and demonstrated the
valentine's day story.

Swingcat:

I loved this guy's laugh. He was just oozing positivity and confidence. I could
tell this guy had game and he explained a lot about what he uses such as open &
closed loops, developing stories on the fly on even the stupidest shit, and
what girls look for when getting attracted.

Style:

I thought this was one of the best parts of the whole seminar. It was somewhat
of a roundtable queer eye for the straight guy session with his girlfriends
where they critiqued volunteers on there clothes, bodylanguage, and hygeine.
Jesus Christ, these girls were finetuned into everything, and I mean FUKN
EVERYTHING. One lesson I learned from all of this was to go shopping with a
girl, and don't take that for granted.

Mystery:

WOWSERS, what a long day. Saving the best for last. I thought I knew the meats
& potatoes of the Mystery Method, but boy was I wrong. He taught me a whole new
method than what I've had perceived. Mystery first told us of his background.
It was awe inspiring as he was really into it and I couldn't believe how this
guy had developed. He made charts of his method and broke it down step by step,
phase by phase but unfortunately time ran out as it was way overdue. Even with
that, I learned heaps just by the MM Seminar alone.

Wow fuk, so those were my days. Shit, there was a lot of stuff going on there.

POSITIVES:

-Meeting Protocol. He was a great guy to model after as I picked up a lot of
his nonverbal communication & subcommunication. This guy is superyoung and I
expect his game to fukn blow up soon. I'm looking forward to meeting up with
you later bro.

-Chilling with Mystery most of the summit(like four days?). Just hanging around
this guy upped my game so much. He helped with a lot of my questions and was
such a money guy.

-Meeting TylerD, Papa, and Playboy LA. These guys know their shit as they
pulled like most of the days of the week and got either laid or got bj's. Papa
is a funny character, TylerD was really chill & helpful, Playboy LA reminds me
of someone from Paris. Playboy LA is really chill and he likes to sleep in his
meditation room ;).

-Hanging with the East Coast Crew(Me, Matrix, Tommy W, and Rockstarr).
Rocckstar is very good as he's been in the game only 6 months and he's pulling
like at least two times per week. He pulled during the summit to our hotel but
things got fuked up, but oh well. Tommy W is an alpha dude where he knew a lot
about the bio mechanics of pickup. Matrix is my homeboy and I expect his game
to blow up soon as well.

-Hanging with the German crew: Pimpstylez & Halb. HAHA, fuk these guys were
great people to hang with. They are funny as fuk and if you guys are reading
this, don't shit on my face alright fellas :).

-The guys I've met over the past week. It was fukn crazy but off the top of my
head I met Joey Vegas, Gene Machine, Formhandle, Protocol, Andrew, and that's
all I can think of. Sorry if I forgot you but these guys were cool guys.

-Mystery getting married to his wife. Congrats man, I'm happy for ya.

NEGATIVES:

-Twenty dash six didn't fukn show up!!! WTF, i wanted to meet this guy so bad.
Mother fuker!!!

-Harmless and Craig didn't show up either. Bagh, humbagh.

-Matrix getting sucker punched

-Mystery not being able to show his full method as I was really looking forward
to it but unfortunately, time ran out

LOGISTICS:

I thought the Project Hollywood Mansion was pretty good for a location. Lots of
chicks, great nearby extraction place, etc. Hotels were closeby and lots of
shops to buy peacocking gear. Pretty sweet.

I would have liked it if the timeage didn't vary as much as some presentations
went over the limit and some went under. But overall, it was chill.

LAST IMPRESSION:

I thoroughly enjoyed the event and feel bad for whoever missed it as they
missed a lot. Thank you Mystery for chilling with me for like almost all the
days and I'm happy for your wife. All the instructors were very friendly and
open. None were obnoxious or arrogant. I almost got mixed up with Crepatas and
Style as they look so similar but both were cool. I loved this experience as it
may has well changed my life for the better. Thanks again formhandle for
sponsoring it, Herbal T for holding it, and all the instructors coming out and
teaching us their philosophies. I am definitely looking forward to next year's
summit.
