NLP is just an offshoot of Eriksonian Hypnosis.
It all comes down in understand how the human mind functions and how you can
work with the mind through language.
The fact that you are reading this is a kind of hypnotic trance - you are
getting information from words that you see from the screen of your computer.
Watching TV is a hypnotic state... and so on.
The basic strategy of trying to pick up girls is you want to arouse specific
emotions in a woman and specific times.
HERE'S A SHORTCUT...
Join Netflix. Rent a bunch of standup that you think is fucking funny. Learn
how these guys tell stories and have people enter THEIR worlds. Old Eddie
Murphy is great
Then, memorize some of their jokes and learn to retell them.
Thoughtmob wrote a SUPER post about how to tell stories.
Stories are INVALUABLE in the field and once you get them down, you will never
stop using them. Storytelling is a skill that you will use for the rest of
your life.
