Please share your insights. I am willing to try ANYTHING to get in with the
girls here consistently.

Yep this is what I was thinking, but you say it much better. Italian guys call
and SMS these girls constantly. I just met some American girls who are studying
here in Italy and we were talking about the whole "dating" scene here. They
both found Italian boyfriends right when they got here, but then tried dumping
them without any luck. Like the guys wouldn't let them break up!! lol One of
the guys broke into the girl's dorm room, and sat there sulking, trying to get
her to have sex. Then he stole her underwear!
The guys will call 10 times a day and do this thing called squillo (sp?) or
something where the phone rings once, then they hang up. It's just to let the
girls know that the guys are thinking of them. They use totally cheesy pickup
lines and bullshit, anything that they think will get the girls to putout. So
yeah they are total supplicators to the nth degree.
They try, try, try, never giving the girls room to breathe...which results in a
country full of princesses who are used to being chased ALL THE TIME, and can
barely even fathom chasing a man.
HOWEVER, I sometimes see the super alphas getting tons of attention from girls.
So it's sort of like an exaggerated pickup world/secret society, where 99% of
the guys are totally ignored and have to work their asses off to even get in
with a girl, and there is the 1% who are so socially proofed/alpha that they
don't have to do anything but be alpha.
In America I would say that in a good PUA pickup that the PUAs are doing like
50-70% of the work, with the girls doing the remainder (of course for good
PUAs, you are planning out or calibrating the whole thing and LETTING her chase
you or work a bit, but she is doing some of it!)
In Italy, it's like the guys do 100% of the work. It's ridiculous some of
things I've seen and heard. The girls basically have shields up at all times
and are pre-programmed to say no before the end of a question even comes. In
rare moments, they'll be vulnerable and the guy will get a yes, thus advancing
the relationship slightly.
Gatto, are you pretty good with girls here? Your English seems top notch. Are
you Italian? Dude, we need to meet up soon, because I want to get good with the
girls here even if that means LJBFing them, or whatever.
