LOL, too funny. I have to agree, I cringed a little when I read that. The
other mistakes were probably recoverable, but at this point, you are probably
done. I haven't read it either, but I think the title "Rose in your heart"
tells me all I need to know.
I read somewhere on ASF once, can't remember where.... shit like this (flowers,
poems, etc.), should only ever be given as a REWARD for good behavior (putting
out, bj's, etc.), never as a BRIBE for it. Which is how this comes across.
Meeting her demand to call her in a week, and then following it up with a poem,
all before you've even met her? Total supplication.
I agree with the others, probably time to move on at this point. And next
time, yes, assertively suggest a day (as you did), and then, if she cancels
(hey, at least she didn't stand you up), then at that point, just put the ball
in her court, and next her. And, as Odin said, if she calls after that, regard
it as a pleasant surprise. Better to be alone, than to be in an
AFC-supplicative relationship. Better even than that though, is to simply
sarge on, and Find Another Girl.
