I did an all day workshop with myself on Sunday and observed some things that
might be relevant to your situation.
For myself, I noticed that whenever I don't approach women or I hesitate it is
because:
1) I have negative internal dialogues with myself
OR
2) I don't know what to say or what openner to use
To overcome these problems I have gotten into the habit of talking to the very
first person I see when I walk out the door. Just ask for the time, or for
directions, say "Hi", etc.
Then I have 1 or 2 stock openners that I use all the time which automatically
come out of my mouth without having to think about them. When I learn a new
openner I repeat it in the car 100 times a day for a couple of days so that it
rolls off the tongue automatically and effortlessly.
Finally, on the approach I've become highly aware of any negative internal
dialogue that I am saying to myself in my head and I just replace them by
saying over and over like a mantra "hmmmm....you're mine" (I think that is a
Ross Jeffries technique).
